iichiko Shinwa is a premium honkaku shochu made from 100% barley, created by Sanwa Shurui in Oita Prefecture in collaboration with leading Japanese bartenders. The name “Shinwa”, meaning “harmonious heart,” reflects both its balanced character and the collaborative spirit behind its creation.
Crafted using two-row barley, barley malt, and pure spring water from the mountains of Oita, Shinwa embodies the essence of Japan’s finest barley terroir. Distilled only once, in the honkaku (authentic) style, it preserves the natural flavor and aroma of its raw ingredients while achieving a smooth, refined texture.
