Meet the maker Sake Lunch Akashi-Tai

£45.00

A Very Special Sake Lunch at Koba-Ko

I’m excited to invite you to an exclusive Akashi-Tai Lunch at Koba-Ko, Kings Heath on Saturday 21st February, 14:00–16:00.

This is a rare opportunity to meet Kimio Yonezawa, owner of Akashi-Tai Brewery andmaster brewer, who is travelling from Japan to Birmingham just for this event. Akashi-Tai holds a special place in my own sake journey, it was the first brewery I ever visited, and I have long admired Kimio and Miho as some of the most forward-thinking figures in the sake industry.

Guests will enjoy a selection of snacks and small plates from Koba-Ko’s kitchen, paired with Akashi-Tai sake, a taste of their Hatozaki Whisky from their Kaikyō Distillery in Akashi, Hyogo.

Join us for a great afternoon celebrating Japanese sake and food and a rare chance to meet one of Japan’s most inspiring sake and whisky producers in person.
